South Atlantic

May of 2016: Two months in the Southern Ocean.

Images captured rounding Cape Horn, the Falklands, and the Southern Ocean to Cape Town.

The journey begins in Puerto Williams, Chile. A three day sail around Cape Horn in perfect conditions along with anchoring up in the bay and going ashore to the lighthouse and the albatross monument. A quick 24 hours and off to the Falklands. A few days ashore and then a long sail west to "West End." We then took the inshore channels back via a few stops to visit the penguins. Again a quick turnaround at Port Stanley and out into the Atlantic for a three week crossing to Cape Town, via Tristan da Cunha. Sadly we were unable to go ashore because of the weather. A week later we moored up in the heart of cape Town.
